The Long Man, Wight

The Long Man, the remains of a neolithic long barrow on the Isle of Wight, England.

The stone is near an estate called Mottistone which derives from the Anglo-Saxon \'moot stone\' or \'meeting stone\'.

The Isle of Wight was the last of the English territories to be converted to Christianity so there is a high likelihood that this site was used by the Heathens for both legal meetings (things) and religious ceremonies.
